Neither this control nor adaptation

To get started surfing, all you need to do is get a board and a safety strap. After you have those, nothing will stop you from going out and testing the waters, so to speak. You can find any number of areas that will be able to offer some challenging waves for training. If you live near a beach, the best thing you can do is just go out every day for a couple of hours and practice. Eventually you will get the hang of it, and you can start to move up to the larger and more exciting waves.

The efficiency of a job board script can be defined by how well it controls day-to-day operations and how well it adapts to the needs of its users at the same time. Neither this control nor adaptation is very effective on their own since they tend to complement each other in an interesting way. In fact, it's only through control and adaptation that a job board script can offer a stable environment to the people who need it the most: its freelancers and clients. 

To accomplish both control and adaptability, a job board software must be simple - simple to access, simple to use, and simple to manipulate. Since both freelancers and clients can juggle anywhere from five to twenty different jobs at a time, attempting to do so on a job board script that unexpectedly changes its layout, its functions, or its requirements decreases productivity from all sides. Interestingly, decreasing the ability to adapt to user input decreases productivity as well. So the question is how can we create a job board software that simultaneously controls day-to-day operations and adapt to user input?

The easiest way to bring about stability on a job script board is to use a template. Through the use of a template, a job board script can present information in places where participants expect them to be. However since a template allows for adaptation, key elements of the template can be coded to reflect the changes initiated by user input. User input should instead

Because it's the overall experience with a job board software that determines its success, it's a good practice to decide where to place various items (images, links, forms, etc.) and then simply leave them there for the duration of its existence. In the hiring/the freelance business, time is of the essence and time is money. But when that time is spent looking for important information instead of conducting business, productivity is lost and participants begin to lose their motivation to maintain a membership.

Most of the powers and functions

Most Foreign Invested Enterprises (FIEs) are governed by a board of directors and senior management. An exception exists for Cooperative Joint Ventures that the parties have chosen not to incorporate (these are governed by a management committee).

Powers: The Chairman, as the legal representative of the enterprise, has the power to legally bind the enterprise and bears significant responsibility for its acts and
omissions. Most of the powers and functions of the board are set forth in the Articles of Association and in the Joint Venture Contract.

Number of Directors: The board of directors of both Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprises (WFOEs) and Joint Ventures are required to appoint between 3 and 13 directors. FIEs with few shareholders may be able to convince the examination and approval authority to dispense with the board of directors and use an executive director.,%20Ltd.


Joint venture board meetings

Membership: In an Equity Joint Venture (EJV), board membership must be proportionate to capital contributions. The board must have a Chairman, but need not have a Vice Chairman. If both are used, however, then if the foreign investor selects the Chairman, the Chinese party must select the Vice Chairman, and vice versa.

Meetings: Joint venture board meetings must be held once a year, and a quorum is 2/3 of the directors. For Equity Joint Ventures, unanimous consent of the board is required for amendment of the Articles of Association, increase or reduction of the Registered Capital, merger or division, and termination and dissolution. The law is significantly more flexible for Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprises - board meetings and quorum requirements are governed by the WFOEs Articles of Association.

Director & Officer Liability: Director and officer liability law and enforcement is not as well-developed as in many Western nations. Correspondingly, the xafs for directors and officers liability insurance is not particularly well-developed either. The Chairmans role as the enterprises legal representative encumbers him with both civil and criminal liability for the acts and/or omissions of the enterprise. Directors can be held liable for board resolutions that are illegal or that contravene the Articles of Association and cause losses to the company. Directors, supervisors and senior management personnel can be held liable if they cause losses to the enterprise by violating laws and/or the Articles of Association.


The General Manager is charged

Equity Joint Ventures must appoint a General Manager, one or more Deputy General Managers, and a Finance Manager. Although not required for other FIEs, this is common practice for these enterprises as well. If a Chinese investor nominates the General Manager of an EJV, a foreign investor may nominate the Deputy General Manager, and vice versa.

General Manager: The General Manager is charged with day-to-day operation and may be a foreign national if the enterprise so chooses. The responsibilities of the General Manager should be listed in the Articles of Association even if Chinese law does not require the appointment of a General Manager (as in the case of WFOEs). The General Manager is charged by law with responsibility for formulating a management system for the enterprise; production, operations and management, employment and termination of staff (except those that must be employed and dismissed by the board of directors) and implementing board resolutions and investment and business plans.

Deputy General Managers: A Foreign Invested Enterprise may appoint one or more Deputy General Managers (EJVs are required to appoint at least one).

Finance Manager: An Equity Joint Venture is required to appoint one or more accountants to assist the General Manager with finances. This is also common practice for other FIEs. LLCs are required to have supervisory boards, although this is often ignored in practice by WFOEs and Joint Ventures.


I was a little distraught

When you are ready I want you to step off the end of the board. I told him that I was not ready. He said, Im going to count to three and you will step off. He began to count one; twoand then he pushed me off the end. I hit the water and swiftly came to the surface and realized that nothing horrific happened to me.

Dad hollered for me to come up again. I was a little distraught but went up the ladder and out to the end of the diving board. Dad asked if I was ready to jump again. I told him I was not sure. He told me to go to the end of the board and take another deep breath and relax. He then began to count, one, two, threeI didnt jump. He then pushed me off the board again.  Once again I came to the surface but this time I felt ecstatic! I speedily went back up the ladder went to the end of the board and jumped! It felt grand!On the drive home I thanked Dad for helping me bound off the high dive. He told me, John, you just learned a phobia winning secret. I was only in second grade so I did not understand what I had learned. So I asked him what I had learned. He told me, If you are terrified to do something, just do it three times in a row as rapidly as you can.  That lesson has stuck with me and I will never fail to remember it.  I have used this practice in everything I was scared of doing. Let me tell you it works!

All of these positive emotions stem

Do you have a Treasure Map?  No, not the kind you find in Pirates of the Caribbean!  This type of Treasure Map is a collage or story-board of what you want to draw into your life. It is a means to help you visualize your goals. 

Have you ever closed your eyes and visualized something you wanted clearly? You take time to see yourself "there" enjoying your success, your vacation, your partner or your thriving business.  You start to feel a number of emotions.

You may feel proud of your accomplishment.  You may feel a sense of peace from achieving financial freedom.  You may feel love and belonging.  All of these positive emotions stem from visualizing and really experiencing your accomplishment in your mind.  And the mind starts to accept what you are picturing.  That's the power of visualization and it will move you to your goals.

But how many of us really take the time to do these visualizations daily?  The dog needs to be walked, the kids are late for school, we've got to finish the project that's due at work today.  Life is busy and we could use some help in focusing on our goals.

That's where Treasure Mapping can help.  A Treasure Map is a constant reminder and reinforcement of where we want to go, what we want to accomplish and who we want to become.  So how do you create a Treasure Map?  There is not just one right way to create a Treasure Map, but here are some ideas.

Use one large poster board or you can take a poster board and divide it into several sections to represent different areas of your goals, i.e., spiritual, financial, relationships, personal growth, etc.

 At the center of the board, place something that represents your center or the core of your being.  It could be something that represents God, love, peace, or joy. This keeps your Treasure Map centered in something higher than material things.


Find pictures of the vacation spot you

Then add phrases of the type of person you want to be or the qualities you want to have.  Happy, peaceful, kind, helpful, giving and wise are some examples.  If you find pictures that represent these qualities to you, add those, but words or phrases work well too.  These phrases can be added right around the center picture on your board.  Or they can be scattered around your board - whatever feels best to you. 

Start dreaming big!  We tend to limit ourselves or feel we are not worthy of good things.  In creating your Treasure Map include what your heart wants, not what you think you can have. 

 Once you have the center of your board and the phrases of who want to become, then move on to material items you want in your life.  Sort through magazines to find colorful pictures of the vehicle, the home, the piece of jewelry or furniture that you want. Find pictures of the vacation spot you want to visit. Add these pictures to your board surrounding your center picture.   Fill your board. Don't leave any blank space. You want to create a full and exciting life and your Treasure Map should represent that. 

At the bottom of your Treasure Map always include the phrase "Thank you for this or something better."  Always be grateful for what you have and what you will be receiving.  This phrase also acknowledges that there may be even bigger and better things waiting for us.

 Place your Treasure Map in a place that you see it several times a day.  And at least once a day take some time to use your Treasure Map to connect with your centering picture or word.  Then expand that out to the qualities and material items that you have on your Map.  Take time to feel the joy, the excitement and the pride of accomplishing and having everything on your Treasure Map. 

Positive emotions are powerful and they can pull you forward to your goals.  Use your Treasure Map as a daily reminder of your goals and what you will achieve.  Make this year your best ever!


The striker is comparatively huger

Carom is a board game which is played between 2 - 4 players individually or in two teams comprising of two players each. The goal of the player is to gain points by pocketing all the wooden discs which belongs to them with the help of a striker. Because of its slight resemblance to billiards, it is also called as "Finger Billiards". This board game is highly popular in many parts of the world owing to its simple rules, easily accessible board and also the amount of fun people have while playing this game.

In carom, the equipment used involves a square board of lacquered plywood, which is about 29 inches, with thick walls at the rim, and four pockets in four corners. The additional equipment required to play this carom board game is nineteen discs, nine white, nine black and a red one which is called the queen and a striker. The coins used in this game are also called as carom- men. The striker is comparatively huger, both in size and weight than the colored discs, and is employed to strike the discs in order to pocket them. Other carom board equipments consist of a carom stand which holds the carom board and carom powder which makes the surface smooth.

This game is basically played by first choosing discs of your choice, either white or black and then pocketing them as well as the queen which is in red, using the striker. The discs are struck in such a way that they are almost propelled to move into the four pockets of the carom board. Whenever the player gets a disc from his own set he also acquires the opportunity to play again until he is not able to pocket any more coins. If in case he pockets a disc which belongs to the opponent, he automatically loses his chance, and the opponent takes over.

According to the standard carom board game rules spelt out by the International Carrom Federation (ICF), the player needs to pocket all his discs as well as the queen to win the game or earn points and progress towards success. However, to obtain the queen, it is absolutely necessary to acquire a disc belonging to his set either simultaneously or soon after the queen is won. This obviously means that the queen must be attained before the last disc of the colored set is pocketed. If, in case, the player pockets the last disc before his queen then he loses all his points and has to surrender.

All the carom discs should be placed in such a manner that the queen lies in the center and the white coins form a "Y" in display. The person who wins the toss and chooses the white color gets to play first. If the player does not play from his side and crosses over to the other side to play, then it is called a foul. The player should also position the striker in such a way that it touches both the lines and if he wants to play from a different angle he should either cover the entire circle or not touch it at all.

To strike a disc forward, middle finger, index finger, or both middle and index fingers can be used. Such a shot is called a scissors shot. Conversely, to strike a disc in the back pocket, only the use of thumb is allowed. However, this is allowed only when back shots are permissible. Usually when teams are playing, these shots are not acceptable.
